A house, not a shop.
YukDao was founded on a quiet frustration: that the classical Chinese tradition — one of the longest, most subtle and most beautifully written on earth — has, in English, mostly been handed to us as decoration. We wanted a house that returned the wisdom to its proper register, and let the pieces grow from there.
